Our Mixed Billing System
We continue to offer bulk billing for certain services, including consultations for children under 16, concession cardholders on weekdays, chronic disease management plans, mental health care plans, and immunisations. However, due to the government's failure to increase Medicare rebates in line with inflation (CPI), an out-of-pocket fee may apply for other services to ensure we maintain the highest quality of care for our patients.

Payments are required at the time of consultation and can be made via debit or credit card. The rebate is usually processed by Medicare within 48 hours (usually sooner) and returned to the bank account linked to your Medicare card.

Please note that chronic disease management plans, mental health plans, and immunisations will always remain bulk billed. Surgeries, Implanon insertions/removals, and similar procedures will be charged separately. Consultation fees are determined at the discretion of the doctors and can be subject to change.

Please refer to the above for a general overview of prices.
Indices reflecting a significant rise in Average Weekly Earnings and Consumer Goods against a lagging Medicare Rebate
Revenue from Medicare rebates have not kept up with rising costs due to inflation (i.e. in 2022 the rise in cost is ~ 2x the rebate). To ensure that patients receive the best care, our practice charges a gap fee.
